Great Table, great company, easy to assemble. The drawer arrived with a crack in it and they replaced it immediatly. Table and chairs are tall. Large enough for 8 year olds. We will cut off 3 inches for our 3 year old.

Customer Review: Not a “How To” Book…
I purchased this book along with another it was paired with “Your Home a Living Canvas” by Curtis Heuser. I was looking for help in learning some basic faux techniques, as I am nearing the completion of a major home remodeling project. Unfortunately, though full of great decorative painting pics, there was absolutely no step by step information on how to achieve the same results, as suggested by the sub-title “transform your home from shabby to showplace.” This was very dissapointing as the book is suggested to be a how to. Luckily, the other book paired with it was exactly what I was looking for. “Your Home…” is filled with inspiring decorating and beautiful paint finishing ideas, perfectly suited for the average do it yourself homeowner like my husband and I. If you are looking for just inspiration, “The House that Faux Built” will fulfill. If you are seeking both inspiration and easy to follow instruction, then “Your Home…” definitely delivers.

If you like looking & not doing, this is the book for you. I purchased this book under the impression that it was a “how to” book on faux techniques. Not at all.The featured house is gorgeous as you would expect since it was all done by very talented people. But for those of us lacking in that aspect the inspiration isn’t even close to attainable.

Customer Review: A good purchase
I am intrigued by the rave reviews. While I do like this game, I would not rate it quite so highly as some of the other reviewers. The principle is simple and easy to learn in minutes. Use a spare maze piece and push the columns of maze pieces in different directions to move your game piece through the maze to help you acquire your treasure and prevent others from attaining theirs. Then high tail it back to your starting spot to win. This can be challenging as others will try and stop you by shifting the maze. Figuring out how to shift the maze to your advantage can be a little bit of a challenge sometimes, even for adults. It requires the ability to look a couple moves ahead, and even with excellent planning, by the time the turn comes back to you, the maze can look completely different. I gave this game to my niece who is a very smart 7 year old. I believe the box states it is for 8 and above. She was unable to figure out how to play the game at first, as she was unable to think that far ahead with shifting maze pieces that go in two different directions on every other column. The game instructions have “kid’s rules” which allow a child to collect the treasure in any order they wish, which allows them to go after the treasure which is closest to them rather than on the other side of the board. After she started using these new rules, she was able to play the game on her own and be successful. I did enjoy the game, and so did my family. I am sure I will play it again. It is solidly built, with thick cardboard tiles, and I was satisfied with the purchase. But it is also a bit too simple to be one of my all time favorite games. I am the type of person who likes complicated games, like axis and allies, where there are tons of pieces on the board, and it takes half of the day to discuss different strategies and options. So, perhaps most of the people reading this review won’t relate to me and will think this is one of their personal all time favorite games after they purchase it. But I was a little bit bored by it after a short time. All in all, an above average game which most will enjoy.
Customer Review: Great unwind from work/spend time with the spouse game
Amazing labyrinth is billed as a child’s game but it is also entertaining for the Mensa crowd. The shifting maze challenges spatial visualization, consequence prediction and memory capability. If a Euro-game is too much and too long, a little labyrinth shifting can fill the bill. The board and pieces are nice quality for the price. Two quibbles though (perhaps the manufacturer will pay attention) - the fold hump in the board center prevents smooth sliding of the tiles and the box is much bigger than necessary.
