This timer is very nice, simple, practical and efficient. No complicated technology issues here - it just works very well. Yes, it is fragile, therefore keep it in a safe place and you may want to avoid clipping it onto yourself (even though it has that feature) and it should last for years.

The size, shape, button layout, chouce of time, count up timer, count down timer is neat. Good for timing your work or cooking food. Has a magnet on back and long cord so it’s handy to carry, store on fridge, other metal.

Main drawback is that timer only goes to 9:59 hours. No good for timing long events (ie consulting jobs). Buttons are a bit sensitive and there’s no hold button so if you do carry it you have to be careful pushing by mistake.

The SIXAXIS controller, originally bundled with the PS3, has been upgraded into the DualShock 3, combining the features of the motion-sensitive SIXAXIS controller with the force feedback functions of the PlayStation 2’s DualShock 2 controller. The controllers operate wirelessly via Bluetooth techonology, though they can also be wired with a USB-to-USB mini cable, which is also used to charge the device. The DualShock 3 can sense movement on all three-dimensional axes, and has built-in analog control on the control sticks and buttons. Of course, the big deal with the DualShock 3 is the return of the “”rumble”" feature; the controller now vibrates in response to onscreen stimuli, further increasing gameplay immersion. With the addition of force feedback, the DualShock 3 is practically a required upgrade for any hardcore PlayStation 3 owner.

i must admit that when i first heard the original sixaxis controllers for the ps3 were not going to have rumble, i wasn’t all that disappointed. but now that i have rumble back, i realized just how much i missed it. i shipped mine in from japan so i wanted to give it my review for others who are thinking about getting one when it comes to the states.

this controller is slightly heavier than the regular sixaxis, but it feels great in my hands. i feels sturdier and makes the old controllers feel like toys in comparison. and i noticed the buttons and analog sticks have a bit more resistance to them which make me feel more connected to the games.

the rumbling itself isn’t super powerful like the xbox controllers, but i never really liked the rumble in those because i throught they shook too much. it destracted my game. the ds3 rumbles just enough to immerse you more, but doesn’t make you think, “whoa this is making my hands numb” like the 360 controller.

there is one notable difference with this rumble however that i wasn’t sure was a rumor or not. THE RUMBLE REALLY IS DIRECTIONAL. i popped in Uncharted and let some guys shoot me from different angles to see. when a guy shot my right side it felt like the controller jumped to the left as if reacting to bullet. i thought this was super cool.

all in all, this controller improves on the original sixaxis and also the old dualshock 2 with the addition of directional rumble. the ds3 is a must have for anyone who desperately misses the rumble from the ps2 days and i would also recommend it for everyone else who is even remotely interested.

My 20 month old daughter loves pulling the wagon around. She even puts her other toys in the wagon and pulls them around. The blocks have all kinds of pictures on them, not just letters and numbers. Great for learning more than just letters, numbers and colors. The blocks seem pretty durable but so far my daughtethe did not have desire to “eat” them. May not be too good for younger babies or children that mouth everything. The wood is kind of soft. At first I was a little disappointed because the set was smaller than I expected. But after watching my daughter play with them, I realized they were just the right size.

A big bonus after opening this product was that the blocks had pictures of animals, fruit, veggies, numbers, etc. in addition to the ABCs. Due to the multi-sided blocks, we can play other types of games (including sorting, identification of familiar objects, colors, etc). The blocks are fairly small but do not seem to be choking hazards, and they are stackable for older toddlers. All in all, a great educational toy at a great price in a neat rolling container.

Customer Review: I bought these for one purpose.
I have tread lights on my stairs in my house. They are needed to light up the very dark staircases, so they are on from dusk until bedtime (or longer if the kids leave them on). Each tread light receptacle requires two (not to exceed) 25watt bulbs and to access them to change them requires unscrewing the covers off of the fixtures.

I bought these bulbs for the following reasons: a) one of them will replace both of the incandescent bulbs and b) they last longer, so the hassle of changing them will be less and c) the light output, which by the way, is pretty close to a typical soft white incandescent bulb, is good enough for the tread lights and d) I get an effective 10 more watts of light output for 37 watts less consumption (so there is more light on the stairs for safety reasons and I feel greener).

I have not used them in lamps, etc so I cannot comment on their effectiveness in those applications, but for what I bought them for, they work well.

They are roughly the same size as a typical 25watt bulb.

Customer Review: Disappointing color temp
I gave the 4-pack version of these a try as I continue my search for a CFL bulb with as pleasing a color temperature as typical 60W soft-white incandescents. Maybe I’m just more sensitive to it than most, but to my eyes the light generated by these has a harsh, slightly greenish tint to it. They also suffer from about a one second delay between when you flip the switch to when they actually turn on. Tried multiple bulbs in the pack and they were all the same. For now I’ll stick with the NVision bulbs from HD which at least turn on instantly.

Easy to assemble. I was amazed at how sturdy & solid this dollhouse is. The quality is excellent and it is very large. I got it on Amazon during some crazy sale for $22 and expected to get what I paid for: a so-so but serviceable toy. I wasn’t even expecting the greatest quality for what I paid, even though it was Brio. Was I wrong. The wood is SOLID hardwood, not the thin, easily breakable wood stuff of my son’s Ryan’s Room Firehouse. Given the price, I bought two and painted the triangle & rectangle front pieces pink & white for my daughter and red and blue for my son and left the rest natural. They look fantastic. It is the perfect first dollhouse for a young child/toddler. We will invest in a “fancier,” prettier one for my daughter when she is older, but it doesn’t get any more perfect than this for a 3-year old. My son loves that he has a “clubhouse” for the guys (Spidey, SuperDude, his Ninja Turtles). It has even spent some time being the Bat Cave, an army barracks, an animal rescue center and a Dino-Safari headquarters. I can’t even imagine how enormous it will be when we add the basement.
