I think this is a good brand of Stevia - I’ve tried a few of the others and Stevita tends to be more sweet and less bitter, and to have less of an aftertaste. It still cannot be used as a replacement for sugar for everything of course, but it works well in small doses, particularly in yogurt and oatmeal.

Customer Review: A great alternative to all other sweetners.
Years ago, before you could buy Stevia in the states (the sugar lobbyists kept it out of America for many years) I ordered a bunch from South America and we would order it in raw form, funny now that i think of it. It was to sweet and hard to control portions I couldn’t use it. In packets it’s wonderful. Of course I hear people complain about it having a slight taste of something else, and quit using it. I use it because it is better for me then either Equal or the Spelenda. Both of them leave an after taste you have to get used to. I would love to just use sugar, but I have to watch my sugar intake, and this is just the ticket. I gave it 5 stars, I take it for different reasons then other people. I would rather have a little taste of liquorish in my coffee, then dry mouth with Equal or Spelenda. It only takes a week or so to get accustomed to this, so it’s a 5 star in my book. I had to get used to Equal, so what is the difference? It’s a natural product, no warnings on the box, tastes good, low carbs, it is well worth getting your taste buds used to this stuff.

What a gorgeous little doll! Her hair coloring and facial paint are a step above normal “playline” Kelly dolls, as are the details in her costume (hey, she’s even wearing little panties!). And that benign, nonthreatening accompanying wolf, with those little granny glasses–cracks me up every time I look at it! Too bad Mattel saw fit to abbreviate the fairy tale as told on the back of the box, but I guess there was only so much room. Highly recommended.

This is a great workout, I run and workout regularly and felt very out of shape and uncoordinated after doing this workout. I really like the DVD that comes with this and will probably purchase a different DVD once I get a little better at this.

This ball is awesome! It’s one of the most challenging workouts I ever had! Totally worth every penny! I’m a runner and cyclist and this ball made me feel OUT OF SHAPE! I bought the smallest kit available to see if my 10 year old would like it for his birthday. Wow! Both our boys 10 & 5, our daughter, my hubby, his dad and I all found ourselves having a great time with it. Each of us made our own project, some with the book and some without. Customer Review: Play and Learn!!
This is such a nice toy to “play” with. The included booklet shows a diagram of each project. They start out simple and basic. The directions are easy to follow. My 8 yr old son is able to easily follow the progression of each project on his own. Some of the projects are building circuits to light up a small light bulb, or sound off a small siren that has various sounds to choose, or spin a fan that will fly in the air. While they play with the pieces that snap on and snap off, they inadvertently learn what is needed to complete the various circuits. They are learning great information while playing. The board and pieces seem durable and well made. We are very pleased with this set and highly recommend it to others.

Novelist James Clavell wrote, produced, and directed this 1967 British film (based on a novel by E.R. Braithwaite) about a rookie teacher who throws out stock lesson plans and really takes command of his unruly, adolescent students in a London school. Poitier is very good as a man struggling with the extent of his commitment to the job, and even more as a teacher whose commitment is to proffering life lessons instead of academics. The spirit of this movie can be found in such recent films as Dangerous Minds and Mr. Holland’s Opus, but none is as moving as this one. Besides, the others don’t have a title song performed by pop star Lulu. –Tom Keogh

Customer Review: HOW TO RUIN ONE’S LIFE
Good, not great tale of a Senior class in a London public school circa 1967. Poitier is excellent as Mark Thackeray, a first year teacher with an engineering degree, who takes on some of the toughest Dickensian type students that one can imagine. Everyone in the class is seriously deficient;no Oxford aspirants here. So, Mark literally throws away the books and attempts to teach social skills, much to the chagrin of many faculty members,too burned out or sarcastic, no longer able or willing to put up much of a fight. Inner city teachers circa 2008 please take note. The saddest commentary in the film is the further deterioration of the public schools since Lulu sang her last note. There is nary a knife to be seen, no guns, no bombs, no wanton gang atttacks. Thackeray does his best, receives a job as an engineer, then turns it down, hoping to save his little corner of the world. The romantics would think of him as a great sport. The realists, myself included, would fear that he’s ruining his life. You decide.

Customer Review: Timeless Classic!
TSWL has been a favourite of mine for many years. They picked a really great cast to make this film. Although made and set in 1960s London there are certain things that are still relevant to todays world; problem kids no teacher wants in his/her class, racial profiling & stereotyping. This film shows how one man (Poitier) made a difference in trying to tackle these problem at the time.

My other reason for liking this film is that I am into the “Swingin 60s.”, its music, its art and fashion, etc.

If you like this film, you would enjoy the two British TV series also set in the 60s; Heartbeat and The Royal; although these are made in the 2000s.

I recently purchased this nifty little adapter and have been very pleased with its performance and continue to find new uses for it. I first bought it for use in hotel rooms when I travel, to charge my cell phone phone thus saving me the hassle of bringing both an AC and DC charger.

I’ve also found that it will power ANY DC product from a standard electrical outlet. Our family has used it to charge our GPS unit and well as operate our DC TV/DVD combo from a regular outlet. Now all the DVD’s we bring on road trips we can be watched on our combo unit becasue this little adapter allows us to power the unit from and AC outlet. I also like the folding blade feature - I can thow it in my glove compartment or suitcase with out it snagging on my clothes or other things. Very cool.

As a member of a Dollhouse and Miniatures Club, this book on the advertising of early dollhouses, I find this book a MUST BUY for all collectors and other people seeking info on dollhouses and the styles that were out there for the public to buy. Again, as a collector, it is essential to have a book like this to use as a “guide”, especially when so many houses and furniture of these periods are unknown and this also gives a glimpse into how these products were advertised to entise the public, especially children to buy these products. This book is yet another fantastic book by Dian Zillner to further eductate us in the past and present Dollhouse and Furniture collectables.

Customer Review: Excellent Film and have a question(?)
I had the privalege to attend the original release in 1970. At the time, as a promotion, Warner Bros. handed out a Woodstock booklet. The movie is a really great look into what the sixties were all about.

I have in my possession a booklet “hand-out” that was given

out to (I guess) the first so many people to see the movie

Woodstock by WB, released in 1970. The book contains pictures,

poems, artwork, and by now…history.

The book is approx. 8 1/2″ x 11″, in full color, has 48 pages.

Some of the photos contained include Jimi Hendrix, Santana,

Country Joe and The Fish, Richie Havens, The Who, Joe Cocker,

and others. A couple of the pictures were also used on/in the

Woodstock Album of the same era. This book is in excellent

condition and has been well cared for for thirty-eight years.

Can anyone supply a value for said book? Does anyone have any information to share about this booklet?

when I received this product it was scrathed on side 2.

This was NOT supposed to be a used item…returning it would mean a huge headache, so I kept it.

Other than that the music/artist and concert goers brought me back to 1969.

I only wish my parents were hippies and I could have gone. I was 10 and would’ve loved and did love rock music in 1969.

If only some of those musicians what have made it through without losing their life. What a different world music would’ve been.

Ed Sibbett has provided useful and “ready to use” stained glass designs for any miniaturist working in 1:12 scale dollhouses or room boxes. This book includes designs for windows; over the door transoms; and sidelights for either side of doors. It also includes stained glass designs in circular and other shapes, which is a welcome addition to many heirloom dollhouses. There are a variety of different designs and most of the designs could be useful in a victorian or modern setting. Because of the diversity of the designs, the different shaped “windows” and their appeal for both modern and victorian periods this book has been an useful addition to my 1:12 scale miniature library.

Very good game at a very good price. Despite its age, Homeworld 2 still holds up graphically. While complex, the tutorial missions do a good job of keeping the learning curve reasonable. You should be able to understand most of the game’s features in only a few hours, which is quite good given the complexity of the game. There also are not many recent space strategy games as detailed as Homeworld 2.

Excellent upgrade for the best graphic game ever created. Homeworld has outstanding game play and Homeworld 2 made that even better with the added scrolling camera views. Gives you the real feeling of the vastness of space and the effects of not being limited to the basic 2D battlefields. Hope the developers expand and make it a triology. Greatly written storyline to keep up with the homeworld tradition.

I designed shopping carts for 5 years. After I left that company, I saw this book. I bought it as a gift for my former boss who was the owner of the company that made shopping carts. I thought that he would get a kick out of it. Before I gave it to him, I decided to glance at a few pages and ended up reading through the whole book before I gave it to him. I sort of felt bad since the book is now officially used. He loved it anyway. It was interesting and it has inspired me to do something similar.
