Customer Review: Your Little Girl Will Love It!
This wooden folding castle is well made and compact, and a little girl’s dream come true. I came upon it while searching for something else on Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Amazon sold it for about $40 less than our local toy retailer. As with the other reviewers, I purchased the Disney Princess dolls that stand about 4″ tall. It almost became a mission for me to obtain all the princesses, too. Do not purchase the 10″ dolls that are recommended by Amazon. Obviously, they will be too tall to use in the castle. The castle is great for siblings and/or play mates, too, because it opens to be about 3′. My daughters love it! I only wish that Melissa & Doug made wooden furniture to use inside the castle. I ended up purchasing a miniature dining room set from Pottery Barn Kids (from the Westport doll furniture collection) so our princesses would have chairs. I eventually plan to browse some hobby shops to see what I can find. I would suggest going to craft stores such as Michael’s if you’re interested in finding miniature medieval characters to add to your castle. The castle is great for little hands, and since the castle folds compactly, we simply store all the Disney princesses and their wardrobe inside of the many rooms of the castle. Your little girl will love it!

got it from amazon with super saver shipping and it turned out to be a little over half the price of what i would’ve paid locally. i was shocked how fast it came and how well it was packed up. my daughter really likes the castle and loves to play with it in all configurations. not sure how educational it is, but at 4 years old she loves it. the only downside is you’ll lose a bit of floor space.

It’s much smaller than I expected, which makes it less interesting for my baby…the animals are too small for him to really see well. The sounds are mostly great…except that the sound of the rabbit is a “boing” for hopping, which isn’t really consistent with what sounds the animals “make.” The other oddity is the “owl” which isn’t an owl, but a “barn owl.” Seems a little complicated. Anyway, still it’s a fun and safe toy for us to play with together.

The Stanley Professional Organizer is a great product. This 25 compartment model has a variety of different sized compartments, including several sizes smaller than the one included with the 8 compartment model Stanley Consumer Storage 014708R 8 Compartment Deep Professional Organizer. They are both great.

This one is a little better for storage of smaller quantities of small parts. If you need to store larger pieces or need bins for large nubmbers of similar items (such as nails) you really should get the 8 compartment model instead. That goes as well for people using this for tech part storage.

I have plumber friends that also use this to store fittings. Just about every pro or hobbiest could find a use for this. In fact, there’s probably a million uses, and depending on your needs the other styles may suit you. All of these are really good so you can’t miss.

Love the durable feel, much better than most flimsy organizers I have tried. The compartments are all seperate, much better than the Workforce organizer which only has flimsy tabs seperating the areas.

I hope Stanley expands to this line of organizers because they are all really good.

Definitely try this.

Born to be Sold is one of Lynda’s earliest movie roles after Wonder Woman, but her star quality is quite obvious. Carter gives a great performance as a social worker who becomes entangled in an illegal adoption operation. This film is definitely worth adding to your collection.

First off, not all the stories were horrible, but I kept finding myself asking, “These were the best short stories they could find? Really?” Half of them didn’t make much sense–you know the kind of stories that are all style and no substance. You reach the end and feel like the author just wasted your time.
Customer Review: Provocative and worth reading
One of the greatest challenges facing young adult literature is the issue of age-appropriate readership. Books intended for older teens are frequently read by younger readers, while older teens often do not read young adult literature at all. Michael Cart’s RUSH HOUR: A JOURNAL OF CONTEMPORARY VOICES has sought to address the challenge of an older teen readership by presenting edgy fiction, essays, and poetry with mature themes. The two previous offerings featured the themes of “Sin” and “Bad Boys” with stories about individuals in their teens. Volume 3 differs from the first two volumes in that it contains a large number of stories about young adults who are out of their teens, out of high school, and in some cases, even out of college. Some readers may question the choice to feature so many protagonists who are well out of their teens. Will a teen readership understand what it is like to be someone out of college attending the wedding of an ex-girlfriend, like the protagonist of Blake Nelson’s “Ceremony”? What about the challenges of finding meaningful employment, like the main character in the opening story, “Turning Japanese” by David Yoo? Or watching the decline and decay of people who were once the center of one’s life as in Lara Zeises’s “Me and the Bean,” a reverie looking back at a young woman’s high school relationship with a boy who grew up to become a drug addict? Psychologists surmise that in contemporary American culture, adolescence extends to the age of 27. The best offerings in FACE seek to bridge the spectrum between teens and twenties. The most striking offering in the collection is Eric Shanowar’s “Behind the Lines,” a story told in graphic novel format about a girl whose mother gets a youth treatment that not only removes the lines from her face, but also erases the experiences that brought about maturity. It is engaging and spooky, a meditation on what we lose when our culture becomes obsessed with youth and disdains maturity. The graphic format makes the idea of vanishing identity a powerful visual metaphor. The two nonfiction essays about identity are also interesting, if somewhat incomplete. “A Hole New Primitive World” by Kelly Milner Halls is about the “modern primitive” movement in body art and piercing. The essay offers a lot in terms of individual experiences without getting into frequently asked questions on the topic or the long-term ramifications of body modification. Body modification of a different sort is discussed in Claibourne Smith’s “The Wrong Body.” The essay is about transsexuals, people who believe they were born the wrong gender, and face years of humiliation and painful operations in order to transition to their true identity. “The Wrong Body” clarifies some common misconceptions about transsexuals, including the difference between them and cross-dressers, and the difficulty faced by many transsexuals by being lumped with the GLBT (Gay Lesbian Bi Transsexual) movement that does not necessarily accept them. This volume itself seems to be struggling with what face it will present to the world. What is the median age of their intended readership? Would that readership prefer to read about teens or people in their twenties? Is it dark and edgy, or funny and hip? Does it seek to offer a consistent tone, or does it intentionally offer a variety of different stories and styles? As this is only the third issue of the journal, it seems too early to judge. The only certainty is that the publication is provocative and worth reading, even as I hope the editor seeks to infuse RUSH HOUR’s edgy realism with stories that contain more humor and hope. — Reviewed by Sarah A. I heard the song Pretty Amazing Grace on the radio and the song touched me in a special way. The song is about find Grace and Mercy in God in a world full of pain suffering and misery, through the One who was pierced for our transgressions (Read Isaiah Chapter 53). It will lift you up. That song alone is worth the whole album. I grew up listening to Neil Diamond and I am proud of this song, if nothing else.

This is junk! I too bought one and tried to use it for my cell phone. It worked for about 5 minutes and went dead! No puff, no click, no noise, just DEAD! It’s not worth the time and money. I found a better one online that has a higher output rating that works great. The only difference is the better one is not as compact and it has a 3 foot cord attached to the lighter plug.

This was made I believe in 1983, and though some things have changed, it really helps to see it live. She keeps referring to the ’sizing chart’ which is not included, and that was very frustrating. I’m trying to find a way to contact her if that is possible, or find some sizing chart, but it really is extremely helpful to watch someone at work. Good video.

Customer Review: for collectors
This is a good book if you collect dollhouses (already made and furnished). There is great information on the history of dollhouses with sections highlighting examples from England, Germany, and America. Related topics, not always covered are here as well…dolls, plastic furniture, and metal work are included. I found the book to be a bit too technical to enjoy-kind of reminded me of a textbook. No roombox interiors are in this book.
