The high-output, digital-hybrid-amplifier-driven ProMedia 2.1 offers a convenient headphone jack and dual stereo analog inputs, one for a more or less hard-wired connection from your computer’s line or headphone output jack, the second to accommodate a portable audio device such as an MP3 or minidisc player/recorder.

Customer Review: Sound great, cheap build quality - read on.
These sound great but I question the build quality which feels very cheap. The satellite speakers are very light and are made out of plastic.
You might say, “But these are THX certified”. Well, THX only measures sound quality and not build quality.
That said, these do sound great and the subwoofer is just the right size yet still totally cranks out the bass, whereas the comparable Logitech model has a subwoofer that is way too huge.
I wonder how long my Klipsch ProMedias will last, I have high hopes (and low expectations) but for the fairly cheap price, I was willing to take the risk.

These speakers are solid and sound great. The sound is balanced and rich. Klipsch is always great quality and these are no exception. In fact, you couldn’t do better for the money. I work in radio and as an advertising music producer and demand great quality in audio. These speakers are big, balanced, rich and powerful. The ONLY issue I have with them is that the power switch is down in the back of the subwoofer which makes it kind of a pain to shut on and off. But don’t let that stop you.
