Customer Review: Hours of playtime fun
We bought this dollhouse at a local toy store for my daugher’s 4th birthday. I really like the frame style and the way the children can reach in from all angles. It is much more durable than allowing her to play with my “look pretty” dollhouses. I did not buy any of the furniture sets designed for it. I bought the two complete sets of IKEA dollhouse furniture and they fit perfectly and filled the rooms. That cost me about $28 total. Instead of people, my daughter uses the Calico Critters animals that used to be called Sylvanian Family. She loves it.
Customer Review: Heirloom Potential
My 8 year old daughter got this as a Christmas present this past year, and has been having all kinds of fun with it. It’s a good solid dollhouse that should last for ages. Set up was quick and easy - from out of the box, to up and playing in less than 20 minutes. The only downside could be a great upside too - you have to buy each room, each set of accessories seperately, typically around $20 each set. The downside being that it is very easy to get a lot of money tied up in the dollhouse, the upside is that it’s very easy to customize the house to your child’s life. We are also using it to teach my daughter about saving and financing (a little bit). She has been saving her allowance to get the accessories she wants. Overall, I’d say this is a great dollhouse, this is one toy that I’d be glad to encourage her to save for future generations.
