Customer Review: I bought these for one purpose.
I have tread lights on my stairs in my house. They are needed to light up the very dark staircases, so they are on from dusk until bedtime (or longer if the kids leave them on). Each tread light receptacle requires two (not to exceed) 25watt bulbs and to access them to change them requires unscrewing the covers off of the fixtures.
I bought these bulbs for the following reasons: a) one of them will replace both of the incandescent bulbs and b) they last longer, so the hassle of changing them will be less and c) the light output, which by the way, is pretty close to a typical soft white incandescent bulb, is good enough for the tread lights and d) I get an effective 10 more watts of light output for 37 watts less consumption (so there is more light on the stairs for safety reasons and I feel greener).
I have not used them in lamps, etc so I cannot comment on their effectiveness in those applications, but for what I bought them for, they work well.
They are roughly the same size as a typical 25watt bulb.
Customer Review: Disappointing color temp
I gave the 4-pack version of these a try as I continue my search for a CFL bulb with as pleasing a color temperature as typical 60W soft-white incandescents. Maybe I’m just more sensitive to it than most, but to my eyes the light generated by these has a harsh, slightly greenish tint to it. They also suffer from about a one second delay between when you flip the switch to when they actually turn on. Tried multiple bulbs in the pack and they were all the same. For now I’ll stick with the NVision bulbs from HD which at least turn on instantly.

Customer Review: Durable, Beautiful toy for the imaginative child
My daughters are 7 and 4 years old, and they love making up stories with dolls. This dollhouse is the perfect place to stage these stories! It is definitely NOT just for pre-schoolers. It’s a very pretty and simple, open house that inspires a lot of imaginative play. We love it.
Customer Review: Indestructible Dollhouse - Best buy for Toddlers Boys & Girls
Easy to assemble. I was amazed at how sturdy & solid this dollhouse is. The quality is excellent and it is very large. I got it on Amazon during some crazy sale for $22 and expected to get what I paid for: a so-so but serviceable toy. I wasn’t even expecting the greatest quality for what I paid, even though it was Brio. Was I wrong. The wood is SOLID hardwood, not the thin, easily breakable wood stuff of my son’s Ryan’s Room Firehouse. Given the price, I bought two and painted the triangle & rectangle front pieces pink & white for my daughter and red and blue for my son and left the rest natural. They look fantastic. It is the perfect first dollhouse for a young child/toddler. We will invest in a “fancier,” prettier one for my daughter when she is older, but it doesn’t get any more perfect than this for a 3-year old. My son loves that he has a “clubhouse” for the guys (Spidey, SuperDude, his Ninja Turtles). It has even spent some time being the Bat Cave, an army barracks, an animal rescue center and a Dino-Safari headquarters. I can’t even imagine how enormous it will be when we add the basement. Best toy I have purchased for a toddler overall.
