Lions Park playground in Urbandale will get safety tiles (The Des Moines Register)
The Urbandale City Council has accepted an Iowa Department of Natural Resources grant for playground-safe surfacing. The grant provides the city with up to 1,500 square feet of rubber playground safety tiles to be installed at Lions Park. The rubber tiling is scheduled to be installed for spring 2009.
